Jim Rohn said this. Truly, what good is making a declaration if we lack the discipline to make it happen? You are beautiful and do deserve to be successful, but if you’re not doing the maintenance and groundwork required to remain beautiful and become successful, an affirmation can quickly become cliche.

Expecting a pat on the back can sometimes result in a swift kick in the ass
